I always appreciate what ceramics give me. There are a lot, but one of them is friendships between all over the world.
Today, I've got a package from the UK. It was a sweet gift from my friend who had took my ceramic class a few months ago. He stayed in Japan only for two month for his business. He visited our studio because he had been really interested in Japanese pottery and wanted to learn about it.
I really enjoyed talking with him. There are not so many young people from overseas who is passionated with Japanese pottery, now.
How nice he is that he sent me some fancy jam and tea with a letter all the way from the UK. I wish that I can see him again very soon. And I'm dreaming about visiting the UK someday.
